weekly Yoga Class Offerings

Monday yoga and Meditation with Alyssa 6:00-7:00 pm

A deeply nourishing self care experience that tends to the heart and soul as well as the body and mind. Each class is designed to meet you exactly where you are that day so that you can release tension, soothe and strengthen your nervous system, create space between your thoughts, and connect to your own inner Wisdom and inherent Love.

We will mindfully explore various yogic techniques such as breath-work practices (pranayama), movement and held poses (asana), stillness (meditation), sound healing (mantras), and hand seals/gestures (mudras).

No previous yoga experience necessary.

Come as you are.

Tuesday Align and Flow 6:00 -7:00 pm

Join Jake in a class that focuses on healthy alignment, setting your foundation and establishing the general form in your poses. This class is beginner friendly and informative for all-levels. Modifications and props will be offered and encouraged to help each individual maintain optimal alignment. Set the groundwork in which all poses are built upon, and have fun doing it!

MEET OUR YOGA INSTRUCTORS

Kelly

Kelly was introduced to yoga as a compliment to competitive tennis and running. While in recovery from illness and injury, her practice deepened and she was able to invite a more conscious awareness to the healing properties of yoga. As her mind, body and spirit grew stronger, she wanted to share that deep healing connection with others. Her classes are both challenging and nurturing while fostering a holistic awareness and appreciation for the meditative flow of vinyasa yoga.

Kelly completed Shiva Rea’s Vinyasa Flow Teacher Training program along with Power Pilates Mat Certification in New York City, Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training in Washington D.C., and Children’s Yoga training in Baltimore, MD and Alexandria, VA. Kelly teaches Vinyasa Flow, Prenatal Yoga, Power Yoga, Yoga for Athletes, Mat Pilates and Children’s Yoga.

While living in Baltimore, Kelly taught at several studios and rehabilitation centers. Since moving to the Ithaca area, she has taught yoga and Pilates at Cornell, Blackbird Studio, the Yoga Loft, Lakshmi and the Studio at T-Fit.

Alyssa

Alyssa has a passion for sharing yoga with others and a conviction that yoga is a life changing pathway to inner healing, transformation and freedom. Along with the practice’s physical benefits, she believes yoga is a potent tool for developing self compassion, self awareness, personal autonomy and freedom of self expression. The deeper we connect with ourselves, the more authentically we can connect with, love, and show up for those around us.

She earned her 200 Hour Hatha/Vinyasa Yoga Teacher certification from Yoga Farm Ithaca in 2019 and completed their 300 Hour Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training in 2020. Since then, she has continued her education with training immersions in Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Qi Gong, and Meditation and is currently working to complete a second 300 Hour Advanced Yoga Teacher Training with YFI.

She began teaching yoga in 2021 and finds so much joy in the creative process of designing and crafting classes to share with her students.
